Crossed Bangla Channel for 4th times in 4 consecutive Years

The Fortune Bangla Channel Swimming - 2018 organised by Shawroz Adventure and Extreme Bangla become so colourful and touched a new milestone in Bangla Channel History. The 13th edition of Bangla channel in the memory of Late Quazi Hamidul Haque have been attended by 28 swimmers 🏊‍♂️ and almost 70 members to support the swimmers. In my 4 years of swimming experience in the Bay of Bengal, I never seen such choppy and rough condition of Bay of Bengal. It become so hard to step asingle meter fighting with tremendous waves 🌊 and currents.

Even we couldn’t able to follow our boats 🚤 . On the other hand, our rescuers started to feel sea sickness due to rough sea condition. The unpredictable Bay of Bengal become so brutal this time. Some of our boats lost their swimmers, some of our boats couldn

’t find the route and our route marker lost in the sea. I lost my boat 🚤 and found Sakib.

I followed Sakib and Songkor rescue boats and swam together. The wise decision was to stop the swim in this condition. But, some swimmers stepped up into life risk decision not to give up. And the number is 18. The 18 incredible swimmers crossed the Fortune Bangla Channel - 2018. We have achieved some records in The Finest Adventure of Bangladesh. Mitu Akter become country’s first female swimmer to cross this channel at the age of 16. Her timing is 4:32:51.Saiful Islam Rasel become the fastest swimmer to cross this channel in Bangla Channel History. His timing is 3:08:07.

The record was 3:40:00. Mijanur Rahman become the oldest swimmer to cross this Channel at his age of 66. His timing is 4:42:00. I crossed my Bangla Channel for 4th times in 4 consecutive years breaking my previous best timing record and its 4:02:00. Through this journey i tried to raise fund for underprivileged patients treatment. I am too much happy and pleased to sea such incredible brave hearts.
